BIOGRAPHY<\/h3>\n

C\u00e8sar Fav\u00e0 (Tortosa, 1980) has a degree in Art History at the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (2002), where he obtained the Diploma d\u2019Estudis Avan\u00e7ats with the dissertation El naixement i la difusi\u00f3 del culte al Corpus Christi a la Corona d\u2019Arag\u00f3 i les seves conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncies art\u00edstiques. <\/i>El cas del Retaule del Cos de Crist de Vilafermosa<\/i>, directed by Mar\u00eda Luisa Melero.<\/p>\n

He taught at the Art Department of the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona, as assistant professor (2004-2009). Since 2009 he works as assistant curator at the Gothic Departament of the Museu Nacional d\u2019Art de Catalunya (MNAC), where he is involved in several exhibition projects such as Catalunya 1400.<\/i><\/p>\n

He is currently preparing a PhD on the Iconography of the Corpus Christi to the catalano-Aragonese Crown<\/i>directed by Anna Orriols. His main research field is Catalan gothic painting. He has published in national and international journals and he has also contributed to several exhibition catalogues and books on the MNAC\u2019s Gothic collections.<\/p>\n

He has participated in some research projects such as Modelos, influencias e intenciones en el arte de Arag\u00f3n y Navarra de los siglos X-XIII<\/i>(HUM2006-12475).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
