Recentment, ha estudiat l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 d\u2019exposicions d\u2019art medieval i Renaixentista durant els moviments feixistes en Europa i els Estats Units. Les seves investigacions sobre art medieval en It\u00e0lia Central inclouen l\u2019escultura en fusta i marbre, l\u2019arquitectura religiosa i la pintura sobre taula, especialment de creus pintades i icones Bizantines, amb especial atenci\u00f3 a les relacions art\u00edstiques entre les diferents tradicions culturals del Mediterrani.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s especialista en la hist\u00f2ria primerenca i la decoraci\u00f3 de la Catedral de Pisa i els monuments que l\u2019envolten, i ha estudiat la seva evoluci\u00f3 al llarg dels segles. Ha investigat tamb\u00e9 en profunditat, els frescos medievals i altres t\u00e8cniques pict\u00f2riques, treballant durant uns quinze anys amb els restauradors de la Opera della Primaziale Pisana (Pisa) i del Opificio delle Pietre Dure (Flor\u00e8ncia). En conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia, posseeix un vast coneixement i experi\u00e8ncia sobre la restauraci\u00f3 i conservaci\u00f3 d\u2019obres d\u2019art, particularment les del Camposanto monumental de Pisa.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0PUBLICACIONS<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CARLETTI &#8211; F.
